WORK EXPERIENCE AND TRIPS
We are always looking for the chance of work experience for our students and would encourage any of our supporters to contact us if they can offer a student a work placement, or internship, or even just a visit to their place of work - so that the students can see for themselves first hand what engineering, human resources, law, teaching, medicine, manufacturing etc involves.
During their time with FDC we do our best to take the students on trips and to send them on courses, where appropriate. To date we have visited AMREF flying doctors, the Nairobi National Museum, the National Game Park, the Daphne Sheldrick elephant orphanage.
A few lucky ones, interested in aviation and aviation engineering, were even given the opportunity to fly in a light aircraft.
